Phase 1: Vision: Shared Purpose and Direction helps the team
responsible for school restructuring to facilitate a collaborative process. It
guides the team in articulating core values, defining beliefs, developing the
mission and determining the vision. It also outlines steps for providing
stewardship of the beliefs and mission.
Phase 2: Profile: What We Know About The School guides team
through a complete mining, analysis, and use of data, including a complete
fiscal resource and organizational analysis, to help systems communicate the
profile.
Phase 3: Plan: Strategies to Achieve Restructuring Goals
provides a process for determining the target goals for the School's
Restructuring plan. It guides the team in establishing priorities for improving
student learning, identifying action steps and determining the timeline,
resources, and shared responsibilities. It helps the restructuring team evaluate
the effectiveness of the action plan.
Phase 4: Results: Building Capacity for Continuous Improvement
helps the district monitor the plan as it is being implemented, collect evidence
of the achievement of the target goals for improvement, and sustain the
commitment to continuous improvement.
